Waiver & Consent
If you experience any pain or discomfort during your treatment, you must immediately inform the therapist so that pressure/strokes can be adjusted to your comfort level. The therapist will not be held responsible for any pain or discomfort you experience during or after the session. The services offered are not a substitute for medical care. Your therapist is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness. Prior to your appointment you must let the therapist know of all previous or current medical conditions and injuries that may impact your treatment. Should there be any changes in your health or medical condition you must inform your therapist immediately. There shall be no liability on the therapist's part should you forget to do so.
Respect the Massage
The unclothed body will be draped at all times for warmth, sense of security and as a mark of massage therapy professionalism. Massage therapy is not sexual in any manner. Any illicit or suggestive remarks or behavior on the client's part will result in an immediate termination of the therapy session. Payment will be expected in full regardless of whether the massage was completed or not. If you or the therapist is made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any time you/they are allowed to refuse or terminate the service at any point.
Minor Policy
Any client under the age of 18 must have written/signed permission by a parent or legal guardian prior to receiving any massage or body work. The parent/guardian must accompany the minor to review their health history form and answer any questions. The parent/guardian must stay in the treatment room for the duration of the session.
Cancellation Policy
Please call to cancel or reschedule 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Canceling within a 24 hour period will result in a fee equal to 50% of your scheduled appointment.
